Monthly Update: May 2026 - Growing in Breadth and Purpose
We are deeply grateful for another month of meaningful work alongside our clients.
Since our last update, our office has continued to grow, not just in the volume of matters we handle, but in the breadth and complexity of the legal services we provide.
This month, we were commissioned as Notary Public of Manila and formally designated as a Data Privacy Officer for a Philippine start-up tech company before the National Privacy Commission, milestones that expand the scope of services we can offer our clients directly.
On the litigation and dispute resolution front, we filed petitions for guardianship, nullity of marriage, and foreign recognition of divorce, submitted a complaint affidavit before the NBI, prosecuted a case before the DOJ, and filed two complaints before the NLRC. We also had a revocation of license against a professional dismissed.
In the area of intellectual property, we registered three trademarks before the IPOPHL. For our clients with cross-border legal needs, we obtained and apostilled certified copies of compiler of laws from both Guam and the United States for use in Philippine courts, and reinstated an immigrant visa application in the United States.
We also completed two family law settlement agreements, mediated and settled a property dispute, processed three petition for corrections of entries, delivered more than ten contracts for our retainer clients, and sent over twenty demand letters on behalf of our clients.
Through it all, we have been humbled by the kind words our clients continue to share, personally and online. That trust is what drives us every day.
We look forward to continuing this work with the same commitment to integrity, efficiency, and results that our clients deserve.
